We are always looking for that special person to volunteer from his or her heart. At Someone Cares Soup Kitchen, our volunteers are the driving force and the heartbeat of our mission. No one should ever go hungry. By empowering volunteers to take ownership of their service while making a difference in the community, we all thrive! From first-time volunteers to our veterans, we simply could not do what we do without you!
We need your help with serving, preparing, and cleaning up. As a volunteer, your service may involve a variety of tasks crucial to running our organization smoothly and serving our guests as lovingly as possible. These tasks include cooking, outside setup, serving, donations sorting, stocking, cleaning, breaking down boxes, and other general tasks.
The minimum age to volunteer is 15 years old (no exceptions).
Please adhere to the following dress code for safety and appropriateness: comfortable, casual, and appropriate clothing is required (no tank tops, short shorts, or exposed midriffs). Closed-toed shoes are mandatory. Volunteers with long hair must pull it back into a ponytail or bun. Inappropriate tattoos must be covered.
