Dedicated Leaders Serving Our Community

Our nonprofit staff leadership begins with our founder and visionary leaders who shape our daily operations. Merle Hatleberg founded our organization in 1986 when she recognized the urgent need to feed hungry children who didn't qualify for senior programs. Her compassion drove her to use personal funds for that first pot of soup on June 15, 1986. Today, Executive Director Dr. Adam Ereth continues this legacy, overseeing our comprehensive food services and community outreach programs that have expanded far beyond our original soup kitchen model.
